Hair Loss: Sugar Can Damage Your Hair – How Much Can You Have?

The ‘popular at-home’ juice shown to promote hair growth in two weeks – how do you make it? Can you hear that? Doctor shares ‘most common’ sound of tinnitus

“The doctor should be able to tell you by looking at your hair what is causing your hair loss. Tell them if your hair loss is affecting your well-being and ask what treatments are available,” the health authority adds.

Hair loss, known medically as alopecia, is quite common. For example, it is estimated that about 40 percent of women age 70 or older experience baldness as a female pattern.

Finasteride and minoxidil are the main treatments for male pattern baldness. Minoxidil can also be used to treat baldness in women. Women should not take finasteride.

The Cleveland Clinic says, “It is important to note that premenopausal women should not take any medications to treat hair loss without using birth control. Many medications, including minoxidil and finasteride, are not safe for pregnant women or women trying to conceive. ”
