Four people have been stabbed to death in a London house and police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.
Scotland Yard detectives were called around 1.40am this morning due to reports of a disturbance at a home in Bermondsey, south east London.
Officers arrived on Delaford Road and forced their way in, where they found four people – three women and one man – with apparent stab wounds.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, all four people were pronounced dead at the scene and officers are now in contact with next of kin.
Post-mortem inspections will be arranged in due course. A man has been arrested and taken to a South London police station, where he remains in custody.
